Switch to the New Google Drive Interface
Google has recently changed Google Drive to make it more user-friendly. The new interface is not enabled by default. This tutorial shows how to switch to the new interface.
Say Yes When Prompted
When logging into Google Drive, you may be presented with the banner above asking you to try the new drive. Clicking on "Take me to the new Drive" will switch you to the new interface. Done.
Manually Choose the New Drive Interface
If you are not presented with the banner shown in step 1 above, then you can manually switch to the new Drive by going to the settings button (gear icon) and choosing the "Experience the new Drive" option.
