Sound Desk Checklist Full System X32 2021
1. Carefully remove plexiglass protective panels from sound desk and place in storage sleeves at the back of the desk (against wall).
Place plexiglass in Panel storage location to the Left of the desk
2. Remove Desk Cover
3. Fold Desk cover and place in a safe location.
4. Turn on Audio power. Switch is located on sound booth wall.
5. Turn on mixing desk
6. Press the View Button on the right side of the console
7. Load the BCC STOD showfile
Use the load button (encoder) to move upto BCC STOD Show and then press the load encoder down to load the file.
8. Under the plexiglass panels you will find an iPad. Unlock the iPad with pascode 1234 and press the Simple System On button.
8.1. Collect Radio Microphone and Batteries
You will see the hand held microphone and battery charger. Collect Radio Microphone and Batteries from the charger.
Insert batteries into microphone
Turn the microphone on by pressing the red button located on the base.
9. Turn on projector
Turn on projector to lower the screen using the Joey controller on the wall of Sound desk
10. Turn on MacBook
11. Login to Computer
Login to computer
User name: sounddesk
Password: Bayside21
12. Test Projector
Check that projector is not displaying a blue screen.
If projector is showing blue screen press the mac button on joey controller again (To the left of Macbook). If it is still not working call ICT helpdesk on 6719
13. Test FOH and (If needed) Foldbacks
Test front of house and foldbacks
* Note please turn up L/R fader and mute L/R Fader on the far right of the board
14. Packup Procedure
15. Mute all channels on mixer
Mute all channels on mixer
Fade all channels on mixer to off (bottom on fader)
16. Turn on iPad and press the System off button
17. Turn off Radio Microphone and return to Sound booth
Remove batteries from microphone by twisting to the right on the bottom of the mic. Place batteries in the charger.
On the Battery Charger Green means charging.
18. Safely Shutdown by using the setup menu
Press setup button
Use the load encoder to select shutdown.
19. Turn off desk
Turn off mixing desk
20. Save changes, Logout and half close lid of macbook
- Save changes
- Quit Propresenter
- Logout
- Half close lid
21. Turn off projector
Turn off projector to raise screen using the Joey controller
22. Put Desk cover back on
23. Turn off Audio power. Switch is on sound booth wall
24. When finished carefully remove plexiglass protective panels from storage and put them back over the equipment
